iCmedia participates in the 1st AMI Minds Meeting

On October 1, Fundación Atresmedia held the First Edition of theMentes AMI Meeting . This event arose with the aim of providing teachers with tools related to Media and Information Literacy (AMI), which contribute to the civic and social development of children and young people in the information society. The meeting included individual presentations, round table discussions and interactive dynamics in which teachers were able to learn first-hand about the latest trends and useful resources of AMI to promote the development of skills such as critical thinking in their students.

Marta Pellico, vice-president of iCmedia, participated in the colloquium "Skills to develop with your students: reflection, curiosity and judgment" . During her speech she highlighted the importance of responsibility as reflected in the White Paper on Responsible Influence, a project created by iCmedia.

The event ended with the presentation of the AMI Minds Awards for Responsible Audiovisual Creativity::

  • Winner in the category 'Promotion of critical thinking': 'Eolapaz', presented by teacher Eusebio Balbás from Colegio Nuestra Señora de la Paz, Torrelavega.
  • Winner in the category 'Promotion of responsible audiovisual creativity': 'Enfocando, 15 years of audiovisual creativity', presented by the team of teachers formed by Javier Goytre and Miguel Sánchez, from IES Lope de Vega, Fuente Ovejuna (Córdoba).
  • Winner in the category 'Promotion of values and coexistence': 'Stop cyberbullying: good use of ICT and Internet', presented by CEIP Sanchis Guarner, Ondara (Alicante).
