Last Monday, April 8, iCmedia participated in a new sectorial meeting for the creation of the new Self-Regulatory Code.
At this meeting, which took place at the CNMC headquarters in Madrid, the working group was created, which will be responsible for implementing this Code in order to adapt it to the new General Audiovisual Law, and to define the fundamental aspects of the Code, such as the complaints system, the penalty system and the updating of the existing rating tables, to adapt them to the new audiovisual content and media.
In addition to iCmedia, this working group includes TVE, AtresMedia and Mediaset as representatives of free-to-air broadcasters; Movistar, Netflix and Filmin, representing video-on-demand platforms; AUC and the CNMC itself.
